The success of our planned WISA/IMWA Conference in October 2009 is very closely linked to the willingness of the key stakeholders and roleplayers in the mine water management field to commit their support to the conference. Such commitment comes in many forms ranging from willingness to participate in the various committees involved in organising the conference, willingness to write and present papers and posters and a willingness to send delegates to attend the conference. In this context, the Organising Committee wishes to thank the hundreds of people who have given of their time and money thus far.
However, there is a special level of support and accompanying thanks that is due to the following organisations who have committed themselves to providing direct financial support to the conference that provides benefits to every person associated with the conference.
