It should be noted that final budgets are still being prepared and that final costs for all components of the Conference will be finalised in the next few weeks. However, based on provisional budgets, the provisional costs for the conference are as shown below

Conference attendance

This includes attendance at the three days of the conference from 20 – 22 October, all tea, coffee, snacks and lunch on all three days, attendance at the Welcome Cocktails and attendance at the Conference Dinner. Each delegate will also receive a printed set of paper abstracts and a CD with the full conference proceedings:

WISA and IMWA Members – ±R4400 (±EUR 350)
Non-members – ±R5000 (±EUR 400)
Students - ±R3000 (±EUR 240) – only applicable on submission and approval of a request for a student registration

Training Workshops

Costs for the training workshops are also being finalised and final costs will be posted on this website as soon as they are available. It is anticipated that the costs will be around R2000 (±EUR160) per workshop and will include all documentation, tea, coffee, refreshments and a full lunch.

Post-Conference Tours

Costs for the various post-conference tours are still being compiled and will be posted on this website as soon as they are available.

Accommodation

Costs for accommodation in various hotels and transport arrangements are not included in the Conference fees.

Complete the two accompanying forms: The ‘CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FORM’ should be sent to the Conference Secretariat and the ‘TOURS AND ACCOMMODATION FORM’ (for accommodation bookings, daily companions’ outings, post-conference trip to the Kruger National park) should be sent directly to Green Bushpig Safaris.

• Registration by South African Government Departments / Municipalities - Please fax your completed registration form (including your Order Number) through to the Secretariat – before handing it to your respective Accounts Department for payment. The MINE WATER TECHNICAL DIVISION (WISA) should already be on most organization’s Supplier’s/Vendor’s Lists.
• It is vitally important that the name of the delegate and/or the invoice number are used as a reference when transferring or depositing the money, or organizers may not be able to trace proof of payment.

How to register and pay
• Payment of the fee must be made in South African Rands only and transferred by the SWIFT Telegraphic Transfer method and quoting an I BAN number if necessary.
• Fax or e-mail your completed Registration Form to the Secretariat before asking your bank to transmit the registration fee to us. Then once you have asked your bank to transmit payment, let the Secretariat know that it is on its way: fax (+27 12 667-3680) or e-mail (minewater2009@wisa.org.za).
• It is vitally important that the bank is asked to transmit the name of the delegate and/or the invoice number together with the payment. If an “anonymous” payment is received into the conference account, it may not be possible for delegates to prove payment.
