The organisers wish to thank all Young Water Professionals, Distinguished Water Professionals, exhibitors and sponsors who attended the conference. Well over 300 people attended, making this the largest Young Water Professionals ever, anywhere in the world! Congratulations to the winners of the 'Best Presenter' and 'Best Poster' Awards. TG Barnard was adjudged the 'Best Presenter' at this regional conference and was sent to represent South Africa at the 5th IWA International Young Water Professionals Conference in Sydney, Australia from 5th to 7th July 2010. Geoff du Toit and Olawale Olanrewaju were both adjudged to have presented the 'Best Poster' at this regional conference and were sent to the WISA 2010 Biennial Conference and Exhibition in Durban, from 18th to 22nd April 2010. The conference was organised by the Southern African Young Water Professionals under the auspices of the International Water Association (IWA) and the Water Institute of Southern Africa (WISA).
